The Quran 14:7 {Surah Ibrahim (Abraham)}
“And remember when your Lord proclaimed:
‘If ye are grateful, surely We will increase you [in favor].
But if ye show ingratitude, indeed, the punishment is severe’.”
Complete Verses 14:5-8 (Translated by Muhsin Khan)
“Verily! We sent Moses with Our Revelations, saying:
‘Guide your people away from darkness and towards light,
And remind them of their Lord.’
Indeed! In this are signs for those who believe.
And thus, Moses said to his people:
‘Recall the Mercy of your Lord, for He delivered you from the Pharaoh’s atrocities.’
And remember when your Lord proclaimed:
‘If ye are grateful, surely We will increase you [in favor].
But if ye show ingratitude, indeed, the punishment is severe.’
And Moses spoke:
‘Certainly, your Lord is free of all wants, and worthy of all praise’.”
