A religion generally tends to cover the spiritual aspects of one’s beliefs. However, being the perfect religion, Islam goes above and beyond that. It covers social, economic, political and even diplomatic aspects of human life.

Question is, why does religion need to become a way of life? Well, the answer is simple. Humanity, as a whole, is in need of a mechanism that allows it to balance and channel all of its activities towards something fruitful. We need to evolve social norms, economic functions, as well as political apparatus in order to function as a civilized world.

Islam provides the much-needed mechanism: as a way of life, Islam offers us rules and regulations that govern not just the spiritual diaspora, but everything else too. Everything is covered in Islam, including the rights of the oppressed and weaker people, orphans, widows and minors, and even non-Muslims residing in Muslim lands.

Quite obviously, Islam offers a perfect way of life. As such, it has rightfully been described in The Holy Quran as “the religion with Allah”. In other words, Islam is the answer to humanity’s problems.
